Hey guys what’s up? Last week is kinda hectic (here I am, complaining about my hectic week again). I gotta run here and there almost everyday, and when the weekend comes, I just want to take it slow. Procrastinate a bit, catching up on Friends (who else watch this?! I really love this show). So, supposedly, I should’ve post a new blog post every Sunday or Saturday, but because of those things I tell you before, I didn’t post anything, and rather I’m writing this on Monday. Heh.
Anyway, I’ve been trying a new serum since 3 weeks ago. Have you heard natural pacific – fresh herb origin serum? yeah that’s the one I’m using and will be reviewing right now. The serum is kinda famous and hyped in Indonesia right now, a lot of people have been talked a good things about it, so I decided to buy it and give it a try.
I would describe it as a water-oil hybrid serum since it contains both oil and water so you should shake it before you use it. I was so shocked at first, I was like “whoa!! did I receive a product from a bad batch?!!!” but then I was like “oh okaay its just how it is”.
This serum has its reputation as a “damn” serum, or a stinging serum due to the stinging sensation you will get after you applied this serum. Do I experience it? I’ll tell you later in this post.
Product Claims
Recommended for those with the following concerns:
- Those with enlarged, distended pores
- Those who suffer from fine wrinkles
- Those with numerous skin concerns
- Those whose skin dries out quickly
- Those with rough skin
Basically this serum made a lot of claim right? and people in Indonesia and (maybe) Korea have been raving about this serum a lot. Anyway, this serum has a really nice citrus scent due to its a lot of citrus extract in the ingredients.
Ingredients
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Aspalathus Linearis Extract, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Hydrogenated palm oil, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Punica Granatum Fruit Extract, Ficus Carica Fruit Extract, Morus Alba Fruit Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Nut Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil, Argania spinosa Kernel Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Vitis Vinifera Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Lemon Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia Fruit Extract, Citric Acid, Aminobutyric acid, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata Extract, Sodium chloride, Tocopheryl Acetate, Adenosine
As you can see above, this serum contains a lot of plant extract. According to cosdna, almost all ingredient safety level in this ingredients is on 1-2, only one of them is on 3. I think this serum will be suitable for those who has sensitive skin since it doesn’t contain artificial fragrance nor alcohol.
The texture is the combination of water and oil, so when you applied it, it’s going to be a bit oily. But, the oil is really lightweight and absorbed really quickly. And for the record, I have an combination skin, my t-zone is oily, and fortunately this serum doesn’t make my skin oilier nor breakouts.
Suggested Use
- Every morning and evening, after cleansing, apply after the application of toner. Be sure to shake before use;
- Use the spoid to apply the serum to your skin. Spread and absorb.
- Apply a cream to dry regions.
My thoughts?
Well, I am in love with this serum. By the first week of usage, I notice my skin texture has improved, it smoothen my skin, and brighten my skin. I have been using this for 3 weeks, so far it also minimize my pores (although it’s not that significant). I’m not experiencing the stinging sensation, tbh. Rather, my skin get a bit itchy in certain spots when I applied this. I don’t know if its an allergic reaction (since I’m basically allergic to aloe vera, and this serum does contain aloe) or its the after-using sensation? because I only got the itchy sensation in certain spot. Is there anyone who experience the same thing?
But you know, other than that, everything is so good. My skin is really smooth that I want to touch it 24/7. Another good thing is that this serum is affordable and it consist of 50ml serum per bottle. Its a pretty good deal with a good result.
Repurchase? YES.
Price? around Rp. 180.000 (in stylekorean.com its $29)
Well, that’s it for today’s review!

Girl!!! Me too, when I start in the “treatment daily”, the first week I was like gosh!!! Is amazing!!! And smells so good, but the second one, my skin starts feeling itching and irritated, in the zone of the cheeks, nose, and forehead, i just say buehhh, maybe is the powerful action, but in the same week, I wake up, and I see me in the mirror and I starts had a little red sports, like the allergy expose sun, and my skin felt like a pan!! So hot, irritated, and itchi, I must to have leave the treatment, cuz the allergy was more worse…
I wanna say you, I just put in the nights, cuz still I had the doubt, to, the sun makes more worse, if the cosmetic contain citric ingredients, so I just used in the night, Im so sad, cuz the product isn’t the most cheapest product in the world, and is “organic”, I wanna say you, I have a dry skin, I should to put my hydrant cream, oh!!! And next I suppose the action with the cream maybe was the problem, and I used just the serum, bt not, the serum was the problem 😥

I just applied the damn serum (lol) for the first time and it stung so much. Some parts of my face are itching too!! I never heard that there’d be itching so I surfed the web and to my relief, found that I’m not the only one. I was scared. I thought I’m gonna grow some hives which happened with another product before. Btw, the itch doesn’t go away immediately. 😔 I hope this’ll not get worse.
