Hi guys! What’s up?
Today, I will be reviewing a product that I’m really looking forward to try and review because it’s from a brand that’s created by my favorite beauty guru, Liah Yoo. Yes, it’s the Kale-lalu-yAHA from Krave Beauty! I finally get this chemical exfoliator about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been using it since then. So, without further ado, let’s begin the review!
Krave Beauty only has two products so far, the first one is a cleanser called Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, and the second one is a chemical exfoliator called Kale-lalu-yAHA which I will be reviewing today.
Anyway, I will talk a bit about the packaging first. I am crazy for the packaging! It’s so minimalistic and definitely look good in my IG feeds. The packaging material is made from a plastic, so its travel friendly and it contains about 250ml so it’s gonna last for a while, I guess.
- Skin resurfacing exfoliator that kicks your dead skin cells to the curb, revealing youthful, healthier skin
- Also will feed our skin with antioxidant from dark, leafy greens
- Kiss good-bye to the appearance of discoloration, sun-damage, and fine lines with regular use
The product contains 5.25% Glycolic Acid that formulated with pH 3.5-4.0 which is good because AHA is the most effective in the pH range of 3.0-4.0. Also, the product is cruelty free, fragrance free, and vegan friendly.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Water, Butylene glycol, Brassica Oleracea Acephala Leaf (Kale) Extract, Glycolic acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Spinacia Oleracea (Spinach) Leaf Extract, Carum Petroselinum (Parsley) Extract, Chlorella Minutissima Extract, Malus Domestica Fruit (Green apple) Extract, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Betaine Salicylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Pseudozyma Epicola/Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil/Glucose/Yeast Extract Ferment Filtrate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Bacillus/Folic acid/Soybean ferment extract, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Malachite Extract, Polysorbate80, Disodium EDTA
Texture and Scent
The texture is like a toner, it’s very watery (like pixi glow tonic) and it has no scent at all.
I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and I think it’s an enough time for me to finalize my opinion about this product. I use this product 2-3 times a week, sometimes more than 3 times a week (it really depends on my skin condition). The first time I used this exfoliator, I experience a slight tingling sensation and a very-very mild burn for about 30 seconds (although it’s not my first time using a glycolic acid). They actually said that we might experience the slight tingling sensation at first but it’s a sign that the formula is actually working. And I do think this product is actually working in my skin, I have some acne scars and discoloration in my cheek, and it’s started to fade. It’s not completely gone yet but now I can only see a bit of it. This product also improves my skin texture and it gave me a subtle glow. Another important thing is that this product didn’t make my skin dehydrated or dry.
Yay! So that’s it for today’s review. Have you tried any products from Krave Beauty before? Let me know about it on the comment box!
See ya on the next post!
